Alright, I finally got around to looking at it. First of all, it's definitly better. I like it, but I have a couple of thoughts. First of all, when we see the right hand side of the gun on the reload animation, shouldn't the ends of the fingers wrapping around the barrel be visible?
The other thought is that and the timing of the animations seem a little bit too lackadasical: the reload mechanism is pulled to shoot (a little odd), and then the gun moves in constant time to the left, reloads, and moves in constant time back to the right. It doesn't have the same kind of urgency as the rl does.

:), the fingers would be a higher polygone count (i had to stay under 300 polygones, didn't you know ? :) )
so i left them.
the animation is still in work.
Thanks for your opinion about it.
I'll do my best :) to make it better.

I think the cocking time should be alot shorter, if you ever seen the begining of Gunsmoke its about 3 shots a sec or 2 at least, the only time it takes for the shot gun to load as the first one, is if its a clip type such as doom, where the time is spent on taking out the shell, inserting it and closing it.

alcapone, the cocking time and shot speed has very little to do with the model, your suggesting a major change to both the code and gameplay of cube, and you should have realised by now that cube makes no attempt at realism at all

Well, make it a single shot gun, I can learn MDL, NTS and prefer studioMDx, I can load the models, but can't figure out how to apply textures and mapping.

what do you mean make it a single shot gun? A gun wich only contains one shot, a single shotgun, a shotgun that has no emotional attachments???

You funny, I mean, the clip type, where you drop the back, take the shells out and put 2 in then close it.

it might be worth trying to make it sound a little exiting Al Capone, i know very few people who will accept to help on something before they know what it is.
