If you were getting a side-by-side configuration error with Sauerbraten in this release, I would like to know:
1) What processor architecture are you on? 32-bit x86, amd 64, or intel 64?
2) What OS are you using? XP or Vista?
3) Did installing the MS library files as specified in the 'If getting "side-by-side configuration" errors..' thread fix it, and if so, which of the 3 versions did you install? If not working even still, what error are you getting?

Whoa whoa whoa. Before we start declaring opinions, lets get some basics out of the way. First:
Eisenstern. Spelled with three Es.
"Development of the game has piggybacked on the Sauerbraten / Cube 2 FPS game" means that updates to Sauer mean updates to Eisenstern too. it would be very hard to develop one without developing the other.
What has this got to do with side-by-side configuration errors? Let's move to a different, more fitting thread...

I'm sure that you are not a part of the management/developer team so don't say such pointless things.

Maybe he's not (or maybe he is, I don't know), but that doesn't change the fact that he's right...
And he's right about this being offtopic. Make a new thread or post in another, more appropriate one.

Somebody had to post it.
SheeEttin, check Drakas' post reference number: He was also replying to ThomasX, so what he said was in fact correct. Just saying. :)
Yes, I realize I'm off topic and shouldn't be.

Oops. My bad. Thanks.
Anyway, end of off-topic-ness. It needs to go no further.
