Hey,

I have made some models and i want to put them in the game.
I just wanted to know how many polygons the game uses for the hud view and how i can make the weapons in-game.

the guns have ~270 polygones (you won't find weapon models with such an amount :), of polys...

you need the md2.qc i have put into the weapons directory

(you only need to animate the shoot animation (pow))

i hope i could help you :)

the polys for the hud ~270

the animation cycle is in the md2.qc in the weapons directory (for example C:\Games\Cube\packages\models\hudguns\shotg)

if you export your model to md2 it creates automatically active *(unused),
pow and idle *(unused)

the frames for pow have just to be from 8 till 25

have a look into the md2.qc with the notepad. it is in the hudgun models directory.

*(aard deleted it cause it was uneccessary)
