I have 2 computers that I play sauerbraten on (well, I have 4, but 2 for this question ;))
1: Dell Dimension L800R (800MHz 256Mb ram) nVidia GeForce FX5200 (128MB) PCI
640x480 - nmp8_d bloom intense 30FPS
2: Sony Vaio (not sure of the no.) (1.86, 1.86GHz 1GB ram) nVidia GeForce Go6200 (128MB)
640x480 - nmp8_d bloom intense 2fps
I think I know why, and it isn't just because it is a laptop ;)
The laptop is trying to use GLSL shaders.
The Desktop is using Assembly shaders.
Is there any way to get the laptop to use Assembly Shaders?

It always uses assembly shaders, it just means your card is capable of using GLSL shaders, even though we currently don't have any. Your performance is likely sucking for some other reason.

It is probably because it is a laptop, though, would an FX5200 outperform a 6200 on this test?
