Not sure what a particle 7 is, and neither is the spring edition!

Love the map, it's practically a work of art. Great job. That thing must have taken weeks, maybe months to put together. I love all the detail work, it's quite good.

Also, if you _really_ care, they're some places where you can jump off the edge of the top of the map. One spot I can think of is a low building right next two a two-story building. You can jump onto the low one, onto the wall, and then off the map. It lets you drop down into the areas below without dying. And, using that place, I can get onto some of the higher walls.

Other than that, great map. :)

Are you using the patch I mentioned in the .txt file? It might have been added there. Otherwise, I don't know (it shows up for me). :)

Yeah, I was ok with being able to fall off.

I just tried to patch the general large areas from falling off by mistake. It would be nice if the edges of the world could be made "solid" to block the player from falling off.

The main reason I didn't do a ton of blocking on the edges is because I used so many different grid sizes, and I wanted to use the smallest grid size for the blocking/clip areas on the edges, and that causes all the different grid sizes to convert to the smallest and makes a real mess of things.

I think next time I'll start my map with all the edges pre-blocked off so I won't have to worry about it after working on a heavily detailed map for a month or two. :)

Thanks for the compliments, much appreciated.

Ah. I'm not using the update patch.

What is a particles 7 supposed to be, anyway?

Good question, I don't know. They might be bad particle entities that don't throw an error in the patch version. Weird. :)

I take that back, that is a bad entity that I missed. I think every time I passed that particular spot for the past week or two I was always in edit mode, and it doesn't show up as bad in edit mode.

I found one other single cube that somehow got left behind elsewhere in the underground castle too. I'm getting sloppy. :)

Cool. Have you updated the download in Quadropolis?

On a side note, I just began experimenting with particles 22 and 23, the rotating explosions. I had considered using them for torches, but didn't know how they'd look. So when I got your map, I was kind of surprised to see that you had used them for fires and that they actually work well there. I kinda laughed a little the first time I saw one 'cause I'd been thinking about doing it and then I actually looked and saw that it worked well.

demosthenes - I haven't fixed those two items, they are very minor. If someone else reports another problem I'll fix and re-upload it. It takes like 20 minutes to light that thing.

Particles are bad ass, and I'm sure they will just keep getting better. :)

hampus_ - about the campfires, gotta have some source of light. :) The idea was that villagers were working all over the place until the vampires took them away, so the campfires were appropriate for where the villagers would have been eating, working, or hiding.
