Is more nextgen,Cube 1 is retro bunny shooting game,Kinda like Doom while SauerBraten is hardcore and has better graphics.

Sauerbraten is a 3D game engine, Cube is a 2D engine. Sauer' can handle and create more complex maps and has more eye candy :)

cube1 is the best game in the universe, the people who made sauer tried to copy cube but failed horribly.

when they found out that people liked cube1 more than cube2 they shutdown the cube1 masterserver.

Sauerbraten, for the record, is now officially superior to Cube in every possible way. People stopped playing Cube ages ago since Sauerbraten matured into what it is now :)

i believe they use different ports which would mean that you have to forward the correct ports and then it should work.

Umm, I was able to get on Cube last night and play with some friends as an end-of-school party. we had no problems beyond one guy having a crappy laptop. We played a few rounds of instagib and ffa no sweat... the other guys were playing on fresh installs, no previous experience with making cube work.

I don't know what the problem here is, Cube is one of the easiest games to enjoy in existence. If my friends don't even have to read the docs to connect and play against me on a random server, it implies that someone on this thread really hasn't got much sense.
