how to set a screen resoultion as default?

I checked my linux config files, i see the keybindings, but not the resoultion? i would like to start the game without having to change the resoultion each time

if you have a compiler,

search for
int scr_w = 640, scr_h = 480;

and change those to whatever res you want.... that will change the defaul res.

Or, just edit the shortcut or the .BAT file and add/change:
-w800 -h600

On Linux, you can set the default resolution in autoexec.cfg.

Please, read the documentation. Read README.html and then look at Config section.
