I love it how they compare a completely original game/engine/editor on equal footing with what is essentially a glorified quake mod.

What a misinformed article. The writer obviously has used Linux for no more than fifteen minutes (probably not to test the two games either).
Nexuiz, for the record, has no community whatsoever. It might have a bazillion servers, but it defeats the purpose when they are all empty or are filled with bots..

The comparison is fair. They're just pointing out Nexuiz as an FPS game that runs on Linux. Sauerbraten is not so holier-than-thou that we can't stand up to comparison with other similar games.
