I have made a simple map for ActionCube. I know I should post on the AC forums but this post applies mainly to the engine.
In some maps, I have seen a 'suspended' area. There is a gap underneath AND above. I can't see how to do this. I know you can raise floor, lower ceiling, and make solid. But how do you have a solid floor with a gap underneath, e.g. different floors in a building.
Thanks,
Stanley

Thats a limitation in the Cube engine.
See: Sauerbraten.

OK then, I'll ask on the AC forums. I know it's possible in the AC engine becuase ac_complex has it.
Thanks anyway :).

What you are looking for is a map model.

shadow_516 is correct. Cube1, nor AC has over/under geometry.

The trick is to use bridges (mapmodels);
but use sparesly (a lot of them will slow down your map) ... for true multi-storey geometry u'd better use sauerbraten.
