Sauerbraten crash

first thing i find weird is when i load my map it says cant load model 186 but i didnt use that model is there a way to find where or what it might be and remove it.

second is when i enter edit mode and look in a certain direction sauerbraten crashes on the spot dumping out this error message:

Sauerbraten Win32 Exception: 0x0000005 [0x38]

or just after about 3-5mins in play mode does same thing with same dump. This started to happen as i updated the cvs to one with the model bind boxes...i LOVE the idea, thank you :) soo much easier to copy, place and orient it :).

my machine is:
AMD 2600 barton
1gb ram
6800GT

I think i have the cause figured out now... i have used mapmodel 128 (firebowl) a couple of times and in one case i put it underground so just the flame and the bowl itself is showing out of the ground, when i look at that in edit mode the game crashes instantly(done lots of testing to see if it is just that) BUT it only does it with the hud showing, i go /hidehud 1 to take screenies and then it stopped crashing. So a temporary fix would be to go to an older version and remove this firebowl but i would suggest you guys look at it as i dont think i'm the only one that's putting models behind walls.

thanks for the report, much appreciated.

but was this not fixed last week? remember ofcourse, the exe in cvs is not always at the very very burning edge of development.

to find you're 'problem' entity use the command:

entfind mapmodel * 186

you can then hit backspace in edit mode to delete it.

thanx :)...this is my first map and still getting to know how it all works :)... so when you do the 'entfind mapmodel * 186' it will select the model or will take you to it? as once it is visible it kills the game unless the hud is hidden.
the crashing is still an issue as of the date of this post but i have found the models and deleted them. they weren't 186 at all actually, one was 128(firebowl) underground and another was 93(torch) that i deleted but an empty model was still there ~.~" . So i deleted those in an older cvs i've archived and it works no probs in the newer one...love those bind boxes...love em :D.
