0xc0000005 [0cx]?

i need help, everytime somehint explodes in the game the game closes and says 0xc0000005[0cx, or somthing around that and it's realy ticking me off, also i bought a hp optical 5 button mouse it works great, but the scroll button is broken some how it will work on the internet but not for any games -.- please help!

to be completely correct it says "Sauerbraten Win32 Exception: 0xc0000005[0cx]" some times it will say [0x28] or somthing :(

Ask the mouse's manufacturer?
Google for 0xc0000005?
Check your drivers?

Sounds very familiar to the problem on my laptop. Are you trying to play on a laptop or an intel gfx chipset?

If you want any chance of being taken seriously you need to supply more information than just an error (o/s, hardware, etc).

Most likely a driver thing, I had the same error on my laptop with an IGP Radeon 7500, simple driver downgrade (yeah, Catalyst drivers suck) and it was all working again.. so try screwing around with your driver versions.

Sometimes these sort of errors go away in new versions of Sauerbraten too - my laptop at one stage couldn't run Sauerbraten with any driver version, and lo and behold, the next version of Sauerbraten ran perfectly fine.
