I would like to see more power-ups in the form of armour and health. Anyone here played Serious sam, the original?
It had lots of health and armour boosts that all contubuted to the players armour and/or health total, up to a total of 300 each. there was around 7 different health collectables:
1+ up to a total of 300, 5+ up to 200, 10+ up to 200, 50+ up to 200, 100+ up to 300. The armour was also strengthed by the equivelent of the armour total, eg: 27 armour only offered around 10% protection from damage. Also there were ammo packs that contained several different ammunition sources, usally 4 kinds. The reason i bring this topic up is that im finding it hard to fill obvious ammo, health and armour gaps in my maps. Its hard with the limited collectable entitites not to become repeditive.
