They need to be copied from Sauerbraten and altered to contain SauerMod's changes (extra files, etc). This would need to be done by someone who actually //has// OSX, as I do not.
I don't even really maintain the GNU/Linux stuff, apart from altering the Makefile when I add something, other people ensure it actually works in the end.

SauerMod (in a somewhat old form) can be downloaded for the GUI and Water editions of Sauerbraten. Most of the fancy stuff that's been added since, such as SSP, is CVS only at the moment (which means you need Sauerbraten's CVS as well).
The next release will happen when Sauerbraten's does, as it has quite alot of new code and content that I make use of (model translucency, ironsnout, etc).
Quick lowdown:
- Checkout Sauerbraten CVS
- Checkout SauerMod CVS
- Put SauerMod in Sauerbraten's directory
Sounds simple, it's just the CVS stuff that trips people up. I don't really recommend the average user participate in CVS builds, unless they're especially keen.

I might have to fix that, seems not all browsers like the xhtml extension, but quad wouldn't let me upload html files.
The project is hosted at sourceforge: http://sourceforge.net/projects/sauermod

Wait, translucency? I thought we were just able to adjust at what point the transparent/opaque cutoff was at, not make models truly translucent.

From model config yes, this method is 'transparency' and far from optimal. eihrul has mentioned that the z-sorting issue still exists with that method.
What I am talking about lies within the code, the model rendering flag 'MDL_TRANSLUCENT'.

Sauerbraten: http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=102911
SauerMod: http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=191686
Anything further than that, you're on your own. As I have said, I don't recommend the general public use CVS as it seems to confuse too many people. I really only offer it for version control and beta testing.

I installed with the CVS Sauerbraten and CVS Sauermod, and with any of your batch files, the game starts loading (nice progress bars :D) then it just quits, and gives me no error.
I tried adding pause at the end of the batch file, but there is no info, no error, nothing.

The mingw libs bundled with Sauerbraten are compiled with STDIO_REDIRECT, check the Sauerbraten directory for "stdout.txt"
Note that SauerMod's "mod" directory sits //inside// the Sauerbraten directory.

Quin: Yes, I checked the stdout file, it doesn't give an error, just the last line from the game, then end of file.
Oh, and the mod folder is in the sauerbraten folder.

Does the regular ol' CVS Sauerbraten (sauerbraten.bat) work for you?
