Well "-mlocalhost" is a more traditional way of saying "don't register me on the master server" ... but w/o an internet connection the registration will simply fail anyway ...

Well yeah you don't even need to do that.
Load up the server on computer A. Then load up Sauerbraten and connect to localhost (connect localhost in console).
Then on computer B, open up Sauerbraten and put connect ip.of.computer.a and hit enter. Whala, you're in, have fun.
Next time though read the readme, and do a forum search ;)

You can also use lanconnect in the multiplayer menu to connect from computer B.

Or you just use "lanconnect" like I said in the previous post instead of going through all that trouble?

If it doesn't work and you know the ip of the lan server, just type "/connect 123.4.5.6", replacing 123.4.5.6 with the ip of the lan server.
