This is a guide to map making for starters>>>
Im not expierenced myself but ill tell you how to get started.Well first press \"E\" it gets into edit mode then press ~ and type newmap it will open a new map.You can select cubes by clicking on the and using the mouse wheel to lower and raise the cube.To change texture you click on the cube you want and hold \"y\" while moving the mouse wheel up and down.To add player starts and ammo you press \"Esc\" then go down to editing/insert entity/drop entity and then select drop on selection this will make it so it puts the entity on the selected cube.Ok once you have selected a cube to place a start or ammo you now press \"Esc\" again and go to editing/insert entity and now go down the page and select one of the options eg:newent shells or startpoint once you have done that ill just skip to save.to save your level press ~ and type savemap ^mapname^ .Where it says ^mapname^ you type your mapname there.to get into your map again press ~ and type map ^mapname^ .To play your map on multiplayer:First its easy to find a empty server go into it and press ~ and type map ^mapname^ and then when its loaded you press ~ and type sendmap. To change the game type: (i dont entirely know but this way works)Press \"Esc\" and go into multiplayer and gointo vote map now choose a game type (btw people can only get into your map if its in coopedit if you got enough peps then you can change it) once youve done that get out of the menu and press ~ and type map ^mapname^ and then press ~ and type sendmap (you have to write sendmap every time something new happens on that map in the server). And thats the begginers guide to making a level LOL.If you get stuck read a pro made tutorial go into the souerbraten folder (uasaully in program files)and then click on docs and it has \"editref\" (Editref has all editing commands)and \"editing\"(editing is a quick guide to editing)and more.
