Weapons replace

Hi.
Id. like to change weapon models. I have models in md3 format. Is any chance to add weapon models in md3 format? I won't change file extension.

You can replace them. All that´s diffrent from q3 models is the way configuration files work, and animations itself.

does anyone know what is a good OSX program to make skins/ gun models with?

and how to import them into the game also.

You could try out blender (blender.org) for modeling and animation and gimp (gimp.org) for texturing.
You should also get a md3 export plugin for blender. I don't really remember where to find it.
