team chat

i have talked to others ans we agree that there should be a team chat easy to use and easy in combat is this possible?? if so will it happen it would improve sauer greatly

it ain't half a bad idea, except what about people with dial up? I my self have it, I already have problems when there are more then 6-10 people on a server. Plus if you look though previous forms other people have suggested it.

I think the confusion comes between sending messages to team members only, and voice chat, which would affect dialup.

As far as I am concerned either one would be useful.

Voice chat will never come, I'm pretty sure Aardappel ruled out that possibility (after some consideration). Just use teamspeak or ventrilo.. etc.

Most modern games have voice chat. Counter-Strike was originally played by lots of dialuppers, and they voice chatted fine.

Anywho, this should have been posted in the 'Most Wanted Feature' thread.

yea i thought about all of them but concluded that a simple team chat system would do for now and a voice or bigger system would come after im glad you guys agree i hope it happens ^_^
