Just one thing I don't understand

Why Sauerbraten? I like to eat it, but why make it the name of an FPS? I think just Cube 2 sounds better.

It has been given a dual name.. Sauerbraten and Cube 2, to combat questions just like this, and to increase its popularity. (It seems people only respond to a boring sequential naming system).

Apparently Aardappel was eating sauerbraten when he finished the first version or something like that - in reality Sauerbraten is the name for the people who already know about it, and Cube 2 is the name that people who only just got it use.

Why not? There are tonnes of worse things it could be called. It could be a generic title like "Big Guns of Doom" or something instead, but who'd remember it? At least Sauerbraten is distinctive.

the name is good.
cube 2 is simply a rewrite of cube. sauerbraten is just another name assigned to the new version.

Cube 2 is just the other name assigned to Sauerbraten, not the other way around ;)

There was a discussion about having a Cube 2 othername sorta thing a while back on the forum..

If you ask me, that title is about as kick-ass as they come... I mean... what more could you ask for?

Heck, "Macho Women with Guns" is a great title for an RPG, "Big Guns of Doom" sounds like a guaranteed hi-selling hit!
