You do that in game with the command /map mapname. There's no map rotation or anything like that.

it says i have to be in edit mode.
i pressed e for edit mode and then when i type in /map it moves me to the left because "a" is mapped to strife left.
is there any way to make it (the server) start with a specific map?
i am running the server on a linux box with no gui.

Before you type anything in you have to press T so that the game knows you're trying to talk/enter a command.
There's no way to make the server start on a specific map. Not that it matters, as soon as someone gets in there they'll play whatever map they want to play. And the server does not need a copy of the map.

1. I hope no one expected technical info, just for fun. 2. Looks more like the Cube carrot than a real one. 3. If the carrot seemed too innocent... 4. People are already concocting story regarding the carrot, here's some food for it. 5. A axe-swinging bunny monster would fit nicely ;) .

Best you can do is stack multiple health items in the same place if you want to increase the bonus.

I liked the rate of monster introduction better, and I liked how there were two arenas this time. I wasn't so wild about having to jump on the pillars to reach the teleport because it was getting rather repetitive by level 10. I enjoyed it, but it could use more cover and hence more interesting arenas.
