This is a bit off topic, but...
Aard, are you THE Wouter van Oortmerssen that took the picture of Richard M. Stallman that can be found on page 116 of a book called "Free As In Freedom" by Sam Williams?

#787: Cube Musik Bonus Pack |

Hello Cube Users.
I made a Cube Musik Bonus Pack with 6 new music tracks for cube. The installation is quite simple: unzip the files in your Cube directroy and ensure that directories were created. This Pack don't alter any aspect of the game exept 6 new music tracks. These tracks were randomly chosen when a map is loaded. Also you can use the internal jukebox pressing M during the game.
Please note that following files will be overwritten if you install Cube Musik Bonus Pack:
default_map_settings.cfg -> randomly plays tracks
menus.cfg -> the new jukebox menu
You can download this Pack at: http://steini.cube-city.de
Sorry that page is still in German. If I get enough feedback, I'll make an Englisch page, too.
I hope you have fun with this stuff,
Steini

Well you don't need to include the files just a small .cfg - file with the same name as your map with the /music xxxx command in it ;)
So you can save bytes :)

Just for who hasn't noticed yet, there's a new version of cube for download on the files page. This version fixes exactly one bug: the one that caused servers with >8 clients to crash. So you only need to get this version instead of the 10_16 release if you ever run dedicated servers for potentially more than 8 clients at once.

I've finally got round to making a proper cube site, to put up my files etc. So here it is, umm i've forgotten the html link thing so i'll just let you copy and past the address :p

hosting courtusey of Shockie (thanks)
Its also got the new and probably final version of PigCam, my singleplayer campaign. The handful of people who've asked me about it recently sparked my intrest again, and now all 9 levels are finished and ready to play, just remember to send me some feedback :D
phew... That was a long post, thanks for reading to the end (unless you cheated)

nice work piglet, really enjoyed playing that. Ammo was a bit scarce near the end, and the transition from pig06 -> pig07 was kinda hard to find in the dark.

The scarse ammo on pig08 was intirely intentional, glad you both enjoyed playing it, and also glad for the response

I found ammo was scarce, but appropriatly so. Also, I didn't find the transition in pig06 to be hard to find. In fact, I thought the layout of pig06 and pig07 were particularly innovative.
