#4975: auto targeting PocketCube? |

Hi I downloaded PocketCube and it difficult to play due to the interface and I got an idea auto targeting this really popular in FPS on council games due to limitations of the controller. Dou you think it is possible to implement this in PocketCube?
Thank you for your time!

as in time of day, this week, or so far this year?
i don't think anyone knows any of that. Just check how many people are on the servers right now, make some assumptions on how many people are playing on a LAN or on singleplayer in relation to those online, and then tally the numbers up.
It's really hard to guess how many people play cube, becuase so many people download it and then abandon it. i burn CDs with F/OSS games on it and give it to people (when they ask for it), and Cube and several of it's Mods are on that disk, and i'm sure i'm not the only one doing that.
so in a word-
No.

#4980: md2 models without OpenGL commands |

Models exported by blender with this plugin:
http://67.22.114.230:8080/programming/blender/index.html#MD2
can't be loaded in sauerbraten because they lack the OpenGL commands chunk.
I've modified rendermd2.cpp to generate the GL_ARRAY_BUFFER_ARB list from triangles if the model lacks OpenGL commands.
http://mondogrigio.cjb.net/files/rendermd2.cpp
I've not tested it very well, but it should work and may be compatible also with Cube.

interesting. i haven't run across that yet, but it's good to see someone covering problems in advance.
you know what would be cool? if i knew enough c++ to customize Q2Modeler to be more cube specific (namely, jpeg support). darn my n00b-ness.

#4982: Sauerbraten Fatal Error! |

Everytime I try to start Sauerbraten I get "no texture_env_combine extension!()" error and I have to close. Is there something I am missing? Anyone else running into this problem?
I even tried dl'ing twice, in case I had a bad dl.
My system is a PIII 1.6Ghz WinXpHome
with a SIS300/305 vid card (32MB).
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance!

texture_env_combine extension has been standard in video cards since, ooh, 7 years ago. That is an eternity in video cards.
Not sure what your card is, but I guess a new one might be a good idea.

invmouse 1
i believe you just type that in while in cube (if you're using the 05 release)
if you're in the 04 release edit "invmouse 0" to be "invmouse 1" in autoexec.cfg
