Oh, sorry about the pop-ups. I wish I could get rid of them, but I can't.
But I could host the manual elsewhere...
OK, did that.

#4817: Porting Cube to Other Systems? |

Im just curious if a port of cube to the psp would even be feasible?
The PlayStation Portable's CPU is a MIPS 4KE or 24KE series (32-bit MIPS32R2 architecture) CPU, split into two cores each operating between 1 and 333 MHz. The system has 32 MB of main RAM and 4 MB of embedded DRAM. The independent 166 MHz 90 nm graphics chip sports 2MB embedded memory and through its 512 bit interface it provides hardware polygon and NURBS rendering, hardware directional lighting, clipping, environment projection and texture mapping, texture compression and tessellation, fogging, alpha blending, depth and stencil tests, vertex blending for morphing effects, and dithering, all in 16 or 32 bit colour, along with handling image output. Specifications state that the PSP is capable of rendering 33 million flat-shaded polygons per second, with a 664 million pixel per second fill rate.

#4818: Sauerbraten lights and effects shadows |

Sauerbreaten is very impressive when it use shadows and lights effects but Cube use MultiPlayer Stream perfectly.
For increase Cube, better is a migration of lights/shadows functions in Cube source. Perhaps somebody try it now or in past. For community, i think an 'understood' library is possible and more easy to use. Somebody got skill for this job (need assistance) ++

src sounds for source code, lol. I dont understand why you didnt click on more then one. Anywhays look threw the forums and youll see an even newer version or get cube_2005_08_29.zip. When you get either one just click on cube.bat, unpacked or not it will work fine. This is all that needs to be done so my friend, obtain all the fun you physically can from this freeware legacy :).

I'm an freelance artist and in the free-time i love to play CUBE.
I have also sent the file to the CUBE developer so i hope the next version will come including an Icon.
Here is the file: Its a ZIP including an .ICO for the windows version and an png for all the Linux users out there.
Download here: www.continuum2.org/portfolio/sight/icons/data/Cube Icon.zip

Thanks people,
im glad you like the design.
I am still waiting for the reply of the developer.
I hope he considers using it as default icon for cube.
Didn't know how the you make a link in this forum so the adress is just blank text. Just paste it in the adressbar to download by the way.
