The textures are already 256ē. That means one 256x256 texture covers 8x8 cubes.
Increasing the texture size (to 512ē for example) will result in heavy memory usage (ca 300mb). You need to keep that in mind.
I donīt code, so I canīt tell you where to change that, sorry.

sauerbraten don't use Multi On line mod. Perhaps in future, but not a priority for moment. If you wanna try Internet for game, try Cube.

Um, how the heck do we get Cube or Sauerbraten (either one) to run on OS X? Neither of them work for me. For Cube, I have the same problems as \"King Cole\" (see post #4680). For Sauerbraten, it starts up, flickers to black, then flickers back to Finder and says \"The application Sauerbraten has unexpectedly quit.\" Any ideas?

PushPlay,
If i am right, you are creator of Cube CTF mod we can download here :
http://www.fileplanet.com/137659/download/Capture-The-Flag
On your Web site http://www.cursesandepithets.com/?section=cube i can see that " My mirror of the outdated cube ctf mod has been removed because all of the features have been included in the more up-to-date quad which is currently in beta.
I got problem! Quad don't work on my Win32 2000NT OS but this previous CTF work fine. Zip is corrupted on folder WINDOWS. Can you give me source code? I wanna work on it. Thx.

I haven't downloaded that file but you're probably wrong. Thalion did the original CTF and the Quad codebase is independent. If Quad doesn't run for you I don't know why.

Me i use q2mdl911. I have some problems before when i got MilkShape. Perhaps you are wrong when you export Animation model. Try just a little modification with a Cube model (Import/Export md2) If it work fine, you will learn something :)

#4682: Machinima |

Cube, being open source, has great potential for machinima. I have read over map designing, but Im looking for a few more features. Maybe you know if they exist and how to access them.
1) Is it posible to hide all the info in the HUD? Would I have to remove the HUD graphics from their folder to do this? (This is for a player being the camera) This also reminds me, how can I hide the player\'s fist/weap in FP view?
2) In multiplayer do all the players have the same skin/model? (I haven\'t had a chance yet to try MP)
3) This one is a crazy one... Is it possible to set up lipsynching?
Thanks much. Something tells me I have to do a lot of editing...

Currently, the engine is too simple for pure-script Machinima. You'd do better to just edit the source and throw in a scripting editor to move and animate your models with... do that in Sauer, you get better landscape and there's a hacked-up Lua system around too.
Alternately, if you want the RvB approach of video-capture, then you can change the Ogro model by replacing it in it's folder, but it replaces _all_ ogros, not just yourself (all players, and all Ogro monsters). Which means not having 2 different characters on the screen at a time.
