No , the best program is windows commander . Its not made for these kind of things , but with this program you can easelly go in to .zip files . But this program is made for navigating in your computor , like "my computor" , but i dont even use that anymore because of wincmd !

#1566: WinZip Buggy?

by pushplay on 05/28/2003 23:43

Maybe it's something particular to winxp, because I've always found winzip to be especially bug free.

I forgot that winzip isn't free though. If you don't have a key you might as well download one of the free versions. They all borrow heavily from winzip's interface anyways.

WinCommander is just a pale shadow of the great file manager of all times, the holy Norton Commander. And if you want to see the One who retains the holy spirit, you should see FAR (http://www.rarlabs.com/far_manager.htm), made by the same [russian =)] guy as RAR was. Now that's truly hardcore - text mode, ye right! =) Not to mention syntax highlighting, archive and FTP management. I would even dare to say, it's better then Midnight Commander (yes, I know this sounds like blasphemy =))...

#1568: Resolution?

by TwentyCharacterLimit on 05/29/2003 22:57

Any way of altering Cube's in-game resolution? I'm using Derek Arndt's OS X port, in case it matters.

I'm not sure if Arndt's port works with the normal command or not, which is
-wxxxx -hxxx

Assume that I'm clueless about Terminal and the command line (read: I am). What specifically would I type into the Terminal?

Currently I'm just using: % open apps/cube

Also: would this work on aliases/shortcuts or only on the .app itself?

I've been trying that, and not getting any change. To see if I'm just blind, I ran it

% open apps/cube -w320 -h240

And there's no difference. I also get a

"open[565] No such file: /Users/tcl/-w320"
