Hey there, I would like to know if someone could tell me how dpi relates to the ingame sensitivity settings.
For example, how could I set my sensitivity to 50cm/360 based on my dpi (400), and ingame sensitivity value?
I've tried some trial and error methods to try and get my desired mouse sensitivity, but it just doesn't feel right.

Is it not possible to be logged in at multiple computers at once? I am writing this from my laptop right now, because on my desktop PC I no longer have a login cookie and the "recover account" link at the bottom of the page SAYS it had sent a mail, but I do not get one, not even in the spam folder. Do I first have to log out on my laptop or something?

Could be your mouse refresh rate :P id check that first. If u have a sub rated mouse it could be making it feel jumpy even tho the software sensitivity is right, but still feel off :)

I think the way this works is that there is a cookie saved back ... cuz my mac works but my pc wont let me post ... so i think its just one login at a time... its a shity forum and needs replace :) BADLY :)

Yahoo mail is rejecting all our emails from our VPS because their filters have decided we're a spammer. There is not much I can do about it. I could hack a different email for you into the DB if you want.

Okay, that explains a lot.
And lol, now I got 3 mails at once. www-data@tesseract.ggn seems to work fine. Had to request a 4th, though, since the other 3 timed out.

I'd like to have a look at which chars sauer can display and which not. Do I have to focus on the default.tff or those default#.png ? Or a combination of both?

the png shows all the characters the game will display. any others attempted to be imported via copy paste will appear as ? instead.

You just need to tar -xf the sauerbraten tar.gz. Then cd into the sauerbraten directory and run ./sauerbraten_unix to start it.
Note that you will need to install the library packages for libsdl-mixer1.2, libsdl-image1.2, and possibly zlib1g.

Hi! Anybody knows is possible the monsters can follow waypoints? If not, have a not too hard way to make it? For example, use the BOT waypoints in singleplayer mode for monsters. I want to make a FPS mode tower defence, where the monsters walking on a way and attack an object ( assign a new ent. to change Player1 as target ) so this is not a real tower def. game you have not buildable traps, etc. just kill the monster's horde before they can reach and kill your object.

Well, with programming anything is possible :)
It's probably not hard to make the monsters follow waypoints, depends how you implement it though. Also, coding the monsters to attack different entities is pretty easy.

Hello,
I would like to know if there is any way to add a new language in the game, on the current or on a future version, and what is that way, how we can do this??
I have seen languages without latin characters being supported (for example russian).
So i really care if there is a way to do the same with other languages.

In packages/fonts you find different font files. As I found out in a question posted here not long ago, it only supports those chars which are within the default#.png files, but not the font file itself.
You will also need to change the source to actually see those characters as valid. People without that mod will see all the new characters as "?" though.

ah, thx, so thats what i wanted know, but the only way to do this, is through a mod right??
I was wondering if it could be added at the main game by any update, on the next version or i dont know.
Is there any possibility for something like that?

In other words; you're preferring it not to make by yourself?
Seems like one of the thousands ideas here around...
But perhaps the engine could use a more agile way of implementing local languages (if there is such high demand for it)....
Only the coding gods can answer such questions.
