#140: Re: Map editing thread ?

by SleepwalkR on 03/31/2002 21:40, refers to #139

It wasn't displayed on the front page because it had been idle for quite some time. I have made it permanent and I have increased the number of displayed threads, too.

This one is a tile maker, however, it's availble in direct source, I'm hoping that more option could be use along with gimp plug ins.

Waveflow is a wave editor program, not as easy as wave studio, but still worth a look.

Isn't spelling it "windoze" officially recognized as a really dumb thing to do at this point?

The constructive part: I'm just trying to help you act in a manner which will earn you greater respect for your intelligence from those around you. And this is how you repay me? With insults? Tsk tsk.

Windoze ? I uselly call it Winduh. It's no use to ask for help with Linux because the chances are they just laugh in your face like some kind of cracker.

I believe that when connection to a server fails, you lose the ability to change maps.

#159: Joystick Support

by underworldfan on 04/10/2002 05:56

I think i allready posted this before, but it was in the wrong thread, so i am posting it again here.

It must take all of 10 minutes to implement joystick support along the lines of Quake? or is it hard to do?

I know most seem to prefer mouse+keys, but surely you can do it for the 3 people out there (including me!) who like playing their FPS action with a joystick.

It would be great if you could =)
