ive sometime a bug: everything freeze, specially on Games-On.nl, very annoying because have to hard reboot...

i downloaded cube onto my redhat 8.0 system and no matter what i do my fps stays at 9!!! i can\'t tweak it, it doesnt work!i have an intel celeron 1.7 ghz, and 512 mb RAM. Some1 please help!

Im very impressed with the cube, I am planning on doing some modifications for it that would enhance the single player game, is there a website or group cube related that has info on mods?
The changes Im planning to work at are:
*3rd person camera. (max payne style)
*Skeletal or boned animations.
*Improved physics (ode)
*Improved scripted events.
*AI
*Dialogs (for npcs)
*mission editors.. etc.
and er.. well per pixel lighting (I dont promise anything though I have my hands full! :) )

There is no such thing as a "mod" in the same sense as you can write them for quake engine games. You can do very minimal gameplay scripting by using the scripting language, but for anything major you need to just modify the source code :)

I have added a new page at my site for the DMSP2 mod for Quake 1. People can also submit (via email) their fastest times for finishing maps in DMSP2.

I have a problem loading a map with cube!!! Whenever i try to lad it ,nothing comes up ,just the blank start screen! Do i have to move anything ???

SDL.dll should be in cube/bin. What video card do you have? Does the first map load?
