Why does every weapon blow up in my face?
throw punch, nothing happens.
Fire shotgun, spark shower in my face.
Fire chaingun, spark shower in my face.
Fire rifle, spark shower in my face.
Fire rocket, instant 'splosion, unless you strafe back when firing, and there is a still rocket that blows up around you.
Cube runs fine on k62-266

You had the same problem I had, its because your card is out dated, you would have to get a newer card I'm affraid to fix this problem, get one with nvida 2 and up, this could be sometimes a pain because the newer cards on the market will only work with mx 4 mainboard, then you would have to update your mainboard, cpu, switch to RIMM memory, arrrrrrrrg !!! But might as well, with the newer games that keep comming out.

cube world is going to be redone, completley different.
its going to be called Uber Cuber now, pushover and i think it sounds good, hehe

always great to get feedback (especially when its so in depth :P)
if i ever get round to it i might well make pigcam II, which will be tougher and generally better made :)

cube will run bearable on a p300... more likely your video card is the problem.
There seem to be a lot of people running cube using achaic video cards with the original drivers that came with their computers, and expect cube to run faultlessly.

I have a Celeron 366 and was getting that -- but as a minimum, usually better -- with a TNT card and still considered it fun, so I think a 300 P2 would do it ... now I have a GF4, yes a MX ($70-90) one like they say suck, and I'm seeing 20-50 fps at 1024x768 on the same CPU. It's a PCI version even.

I don't like to get into business with people like you, but I think I will.
How can you even compare the developer (notice developer, not developers) of Cube to Microsoft? Cube is FREE, it is OPEN SOURCE. If you think you can do better, do it, make the game run faster. The licence allows you to.
I mean what right do you have to insult Aardappel with that bullshit because you can't run his game?

Which port does cube use to communicate through during multiplay? My router is blocking the incoming connections, when I am trying to host a server! :(

Im trying to work on the cube source in linux to add some features and fix a couple problems, but after i run the final product it will not recongize the other cube servers, and displays them as different cube protocol. How can i fix this?

I read the readme, I compiled the code, i ran the code, but it refuses to stay connected to servers and disconnects with a invalid network mesg type of 119.
