Anyone wanting to announce a permanent Cube server should place such announcements in this thread. Of course, the main servers at this point are grunt.splatterworld.de and dark.asamnet.de

We don't have any Master server ON for Multiplayer Cube FPS, when do you plan to recover it, without MasterServer Multi will be dead rapidly in Cube...

I am also hosting a Cube server on my dedicated server (no, it is not only for Cube). Internet connection is 10 Mbps and it runs 24/7.

ive set up a computer to use as a cube or sauerbraten dedicated server (havent decided yet) but I have a few questions first...

what sort of specs does a server need? ive set up a pentium 120 with 32mb ram because it was just collecting dust and I figured as alot was client side it should work...

also, does it matter if I have a dynamic IP address? the server would be located in Sydney, Australia and would be run on an ADSL2+ connection.

The only problem I have with my server (81.169.141.242) is that some guys allways set this thing to private mode with a password and leave so the server is unuseable by others.
I want my server to be free and public. I got two ways now: Either I create a cronjob which kills the server every day and starts a new process or I edit the code so private mode can't be set.
Which way is better in my case?

Since I have now the ADSL (speed 4Mb/s), the first thing i wanted to try was to play cube without any dial-up and slow connection. When I opened Cube, firstly i opened \\\"server browser\\\" and connected to a listed server. But when i wanted to update the server list, i selected update from \\\"masterserver\\\", but the whole application blocked! I can\\\'t update the serverlist since i use the router to connect to the internet. Do I have to do a port forward, as i did with other file sharing programs? If yes, can u tell me which port i must forward from the router? Maybe this isn\\\'t the problem i met...
