Have you already tried to disassemble the F4 menu? Look into your data/menus.cfg and then search the line "newgui mapmodels"

That's about as simple as it gets loading a list of models,

f4 menu is ok but I want to change the (remove guitab) to substitute a menu slide
and remove the text and only see the 3d models

In addition to tabs, Red Eclipse gui supports scrollable lists, a feature that doesn't exists in Sauerbraten, and it look like your image.

i know tesseract has this in there edit mode. But the gui is way different then in cube sauerbraten. But this would be easiest in the c++ code though you could probably do it in the script.

Correct, that can be easily scripted using tesseract's ui

Ok, ui means "user interface" and gui means "graphical user interface".

In other words, a gui is an ui.

In most games using the Cube 2 Engine (including Sauerbraten and Red Eclipse) or Tesseract, the language used to define these interfaces is the CubeScript.
