Please post your bug reports in here.
With your bug report, please submit the following information:
1) OS: Your operating system, i.e. Linux, Windows, or otherwise and what version you are using.
2) 3D card: The 3D card you are using. If you do not know, this is printed on the "Renderer:" line in the console when Sauerbraten starts up.
3) The edition of Sauerbraten you are using, i.e. Assassin edition, CVS as of a particular date, or otherwise.
4) Error information: If you are on Windows, a pop-up message showing filenames and line numbers should show up when Sauerbraten crashes; if possible, post a screenshot or a copy/paste of this. If on Linux, post a log of the startup info from the console, including relevant errors or any info you might have discovered. If on MacOS X, please post the crash log if applicable.
5) A description of the problem and how to reproduce it. Please give as much detail as possible on how someone can recreate the problem, in as certain terms as you can. If someone else can't reproduce the problem, it is unlikely he can fix it or tell you what is wrong.

ATI drivers seem to have undergone another backstep on Mac OS X .. at least I heard something about this on the AssaultCube IRC-channel.
You might want to either upgrade or downgrade your drivers .. see if that helps.
But hopefully a fellow Mac'er can give you a more knowlegeable reply.

I'm unable to replicate these recent osx crashing issues on any of the machines here...
Thank you for the crash logs, sadly I can see no sensible reason why it crashes at these locations other than "driver bug", and I'm unable to offer workarounds at this stage.

A problem occurs when other players join a map and edit at the same time I edit. I copy a project paste it to another part of the map and then pieces are missing or all the project!

umh Ati radeon mobility 2600HD is a really good graphic card ;)
Crysis works like a charm, than all the newest games work at least at medium setting. So i\'m 101% sure its not too weak :P

#253: Mac OS update |

Mac OS X 10.5.7
imac 2008
I don't know what exact chips, etc., but I am assuming it's not that important because the game always ran perfectly well and I had a lot of fun, but since I upgraded to 10.5.7. from 10.5.6, it keeps crashing just after I open it. How can I stop this?

Always press the [send report] button on the crash dialog to send the bug report to apple... at this stage we have no solution

#257: Odd rendering in edit mode. |
|
by Stotto

Windows XP SP3
Radeon 9500 / Current drivers off ati.amd.com (OpenGL Version 6.14.10.5819)
Trooper edition.
When I go into edit mode, on many of the standard maps, much of the map gets
textured with skybox texture, in irregular patches, which may have ragged edges and which may flicker rapidly between skybox and the intended texture.
Skybox texture is shown regardless of what is actually behind the surface.
academy, metl2, metl3, refuge & reissen all do this - complex, douze, ot, nmp8
& wdcd don't.

I can't find any reference to catalyst AI in the Control Centre - perhaps only later Radeons have this ?

You need to use the advanced interface in ATI-CC.
You can also try 'ati_skybox_bug 1' in your autoexec.cfg

The advanced interface is on, but it isn't there.
ati_skybox_bug didn't make a difference.
(with the game restarted after changing autoexec.cfg)
