Bug Reports

by eihrul@work on 04/22/2008 13:19, 252 messages, last message: 01/15/2014 11:34, 327519 views, last view: 04/20/2024 14:31

Please post your bug reports in here.

With your bug report, please submit the following information:

1) OS: Your operating system, i.e. Linux, Windows, or otherwise and what version you are using.

2) 3D card: The 3D card you are using. If you do not know, this is printed on the "Renderer:" line in the console when Sauerbraten starts up.

3) The edition of Sauerbraten you are using, i.e. Assassin edition, CVS as of a particular date, or otherwise.

4) Error information: If you are on Windows, a pop-up message showing filenames and line numbers should show up when Sauerbraten crashes; if possible, post a screenshot or a copy/paste of this. If on Linux, post a log of the startup info from the console, including relevant errors or any info you might have discovered.

5) A description of the problem and how to reproduce it. Please give as much detail as possible on how someone can recreate the problem, in as certain terms as you can. If someone else can't reproduce the problem, it is unlikely he can fix it or tell you what is wrong.

#234: Re: Win32 exception 0xc0000005 [0x8]

by Selendrile on 09/16/2009 00:38

I get the same error, using windows 2000, on a laptop. It can play other games like Morrowind, so graphics is fine I think, though it is ATI.

On my desktop, win2000, Radeon graphics card, works perfectly.

#241: win32 exception 0x000005

by s0ygecko on 08/23/2010 20:23

I get the same error. In my case before entering anything or changing any option in GFX. The most strange thing is that game works in the principal Admin account but any other.

As "normal user" the game works different but I get the same error.

Probably Installing in another unit can solve all the problems

#244: Re: Problem

by Ganjafreak on 02/09/2011 04:06, refers to #243

I got it working. I normally leave my computer running for days so I did a restart and reinstall and it worked perfectly.

For some reason there is no unistall.exe in my folder so I have to delete the folder and click uninstall from my cpanel.

#246: Intel HD Graphics 3000 bug

by p5n0n4 on 11/06/2011 16:42

Playing Sauerbraten (forgot which version) on Mac OSX, 13" MBP w/ Intel HD 3000 gpu.
There's a lot of weird render-mess-up stuff going on. Textures and models are missing or randomly disappear and reappear, things "tear" across the screen... It's hard to describe. Everything is just way chaotic and unplayable.

I had that problem with dual nvidia 7900s in a laptop before, can you run sauerbraten on full settings with your hd3000 with no problems other than the tearing and disappearing trees?
